flotsamweave is a self-taught artist and occasional writer, who has been creating art
since her first exhibition, Shore is a Load of Rubbish! to raise awareness of
beach/marine litter at Bay Art Gallery (BAG) in 2010.
Since then, they have become very proactive in local arts
organising or taking part in, around 60 local arts-related projects,
events, installations and commissions and run many family orientated
workshops.
This hands-on approach has allowed flotsamweave to grow and
progress as a mixed media artist, still using mainly recycled and found
materials to create assemblages and installations on a wider range of
environmental and social issues.
